Ladies' Night Out - a time for encouragement, devotion, food, etc. We always have a great time! This one seems to be on high demand! So, what to they do? They might go hear a speaker, meet for a recipe swap with loads of samples, have a meaningful devotional in God's Word, etc.
Family Fellowships - activities for the whole family and time to simply enjoy being together as a church family. We do a variety ofactivities around the year including cook-outs, home-made ice-cream fellowships, Christmas parties, Valentine Banquets, and more.
Backyard Bible Club . Near the close of summer, we have what we call "Backyard Bible Club" for kids Nursery to 18 years old. It is held at Creedmoor Elementary on Hwy 56 East, every night for a whole week, with a big rally to close. Each year has a new theme and opportunities for the kids to learn new things and win prizes.
SHINE Harvest Festival. The acronym SHINE ("Share His Incredible News Everywhere") Every October (usually the last Saturday) we meet at Creedmoor Elementary with activities for the family. We offer free, unlimited access to face painting and games including a Bounce House for the kids. We also have live contemporary praise music from our Praise Band and other groups in the area. But not only that! We have hot-dogs, Cokes, cotton-candy, nachos and more for 25 cents each, all day! Why? We're not out to make money. We just want to reach our community with the Hope that we have found in Jesus Christ.
There are many other beneficial ministries that a church can offer for the spiritual growth of the church body. As we grow, it is our desire to do the things that best meet the needs of our church family. As those needs arise and as the leaders are available, those things will be added in the right time.
